History

Damavand Mineral Water Company, the pioneer in Iran’s bottled water industry, began its journey in 1973 with the French company Perrier. In 1998, the company continued its collaboration with the French brand Vichy under Castle. In 2009, a majority stake in Damavand was acquired by the French company Danone, a global leader in the food industry, and this partnership lasted for 12 years. Since December 2021, Damavand has been working with the French company Ferminvest.
In recent years, Damavand has utilized the latest global technology in its production lines to ensure top-quality bottled water. The Damavand factory, covering 66,000 square meters with a production area of 22,000 square meters, is one of the largest and most modern bottled water production facilities in the country and the largest in Damavand city and the eastern region of Tehran Province.

  • Achieved an ‘A’ rating in proficiency testing (PT) from Turkak Laboratory, Turkey.
